Agent of the Month: Ryan Finger

Read more about Ryan Finger and his listing on Xenia Street...

After college, Ryan spent almost five years as an Executive Team Leader for Target, which is essentially an Assistant Store Manager. Working as much as he was in this position, with a set salary, and a work schedule that was based around the store’s needs, he needed a change. He went to a few career counselors, took some tests, and found out that Real Estate Agent was listed each time. He decided to reach out to those Agents he knew, and there were so many positives to the Industry that appealed to him. How could setting your own schedule and getting paid for how hard you work, not appeal to you? Ryan says, "I knew four Agents, all at different companies, all suggest Keller Williams. The training that I received starting off was invaluable, and in this career, it certainly never stops."

What drives you to be successful in your life?

This may change at some point, but for now I am driven mainly by the idea of growing my business. I want to expand my database and past clients exponentially over the years upcoming and to gain lasting relationships that generate strong referrals for the rest of my career. I care about each client so much, because gaining raving reviews will be what allows me to grow personally and professionally as I wish.

What do you love about being an agent? And what advice would you give to new agents?

I love that I am in control of how well my future turns out. I care about relationships and my clients, and this field truly allows you to feel great pride in your work. Advise for new agents would include being in the office everyday and the commitment to spending time doing some for of lead generation daily. Any form of lead generation is better than sitting around and waiting for the phone to ring. Try everything, commit yourself to get better at each, and you will find certain areas that lead you towards gaining clients over others.

What do you think about the current Colorado real estate market?

We need Listings. Pretty easy to see when you look at the stats or are in this business showing homes. We are in a Strong Seller’s market, and with the lack of Listings currently available, it cannot change anytime soon. Denver Metro has been crazy hot over the last few years since I started, and I almost don’t know any different at this point. Buyers Purchasing Power continues to decrease with rising interest rates and appreciating pricing all over, so how long can a Home Buyer on the fence continue to wait?

4973 Xenia St Denver CO 80238-large-009-58-Kitchen-1499x1000-72dpi.jpg

What do you think your most helpful marketing tool is when selling yourself and selling a home?

Having the help of the House Hunters Team, that I work with, is such a huge marketing tool. I admit that my tech skills are not in line with the rest of my generation of early 30-somethings, but I have support that handles those difficult tasks and allows me to be in front of the clients and work the numbers as I feel comfortable doing. I enjoy strategizing out ways to find success, and it often varies with each situation. I market myself to buyers in this crazy market by allowing them to know that I have yet to have to write more than three offers for any client without them being accepted for an offer. Regardless of price point, and especially at a lower price, this should appeal to those listening to the multiple offer situations out there.

What is your favorite feature of this property? What would you say this listings surrounding neighborhood is like? What are some local hotspots around the property? Food, entertainment, parks, and schools?

4973 Xenia St has so many upgrades, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of them since closing, that it is difficult to pick just one. The Hunter Douglas Auto-Blinds throughout the home that can be raised/lowered with the press of a button or auto-programmed on your phone are pretty convenient. Lot sizes are at a premium in Northfield, but this home has a true backyard for the entire family, one of the largest around. Guest suites on each level is a convenience for any purchaser. Did you see the pictures?...Look at that Kitchen! Get in contact with me and let’s have a private showing! The Northfield neighborhood is newer and becoming very upscale, with highly rated schools and some fun shopping right close by. Within walking distance of this home you can grab Torchy’s Tacos, Brixx, Five Guys, all are just a few blocks away. The Northfield Shops are also so close that walking to all your shopping needs is easy and incredibly convenient, with some upper scale restaurants as well. Schools are about as highly rated as you could ask, your kids will be pushed and engaged at High Tech, DSST: Stapleton, and then Northfield High.

Where can we find you online?

Visit the easy to navigate for all your home shopping needs. You can find me on Facebook and also check out my team’s page of House Hunters Team Colorado. Of course, I am always attached to my phone, 719-271-3258.

Luxe Social at Del Frisco's Grille

You can't rain on this parade...

Although we planned on having the our Luxe Social on the rooftop bar at Del Frisco's, Colorado weather had different plans for us! Instead of the rooftop, we took over a private room in the restaurant and made it our very own. If you missed our Luxe Social last Thursday then you missed a great party! This networking event was not only to meet new people, but to welcome our newest member Piper Billups to our team. The party started by checking in with Piper's gorgeous daughter daughters at the door. After being checked in, our guest enjoyed drinks, a live dj, and eats provided by our friends at Del Frisco's Grille. We enjoyed appetizers like crab cakes, egg rolls, ahi fish tacos, and cheesy flatbreads. We also had our very own RH Luxe signature cocktail, a pineapple margarita. Rain or shine, we had the absolute best time at our Luxe Social and we cannot wait for more events just like this. Check out the photos from out event below!

RED Day is just another example of our commitment to each other and to the cities and towns where we live and work. This year we are golfing for charity! We will be raising money for the Florence Crittenton Services. Florence Crittenton Services pioneered a nationally recognized two generation program model that helps teen families break the cycle of poverty through education, health and wellness, and economic and social asset building.

I am truly a relationship realtor.  I am extremely social and have many social circles in the city and Vail. I have a high cold lead conversion because I get to know and connected to people easily. I think people’s lives are interesting and love to hear their goals and dreams.  Then I go back to my think tank and figure out how to help make it happen. It’s a blast!

Getting to Know Payton Bernstine

Meet our girl Payton...

Payton is a city girl, sushi lover, and a chick with a passion for making everything a little prettier. She is the only member of RH Luxe Group that is not a realtor, but that doesn't make her any less a part of the Luxe Crew.  Read more about her below...

What is your favorite happy hour spot?

I love love love Hapa Sushi for happy hour. I am a total sucker for sushi and sake. But I love trying new places! I have an ongoing list on my phone of all the restaurants and happy hours I want to hit.

What drives you to work hard?

I would say I have very high standards for what success means to me. I want the people around me to be proud of me, but at the end of the day I want to impress myself with the things that I have accomplished. I have worked really hard to get where I am today and I am just getting started.

Do you have any pets?

Not yet. I am trying to sell my boyfriend on a cat. It isn't going so well though...

What would your last meal be?

I would probably just mix together all of my favorite foods that I try not to eat often.  So a Hawaiian pizza from Cosmos Pizza with spicy ranch, a Chipotle burrito with queso from Qdoba. French fries from McDonalds,  Flammin’ Hot Cheetos, and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert. Honestly, things would get ugly. Whoops!

Whats one thing you couldn't go a day without?

My daily planner. I am totally old school and have a notebook style planner that I carry around with me constantly. I write down my daily and monthly schedules and also have a running list of goals, books I want to read, journal entries, and daily affirmations. There is something about putting a pen to paper that just works for me. That thing truly keeps me sane.

5K for Volunteers of America

Runnin' of the Green 5K

We had such a fun time at the Runnin' of the Green 5K this past Sunday as our March charity event! We all woke up nice and early and got into the St. Patricks Day spirit to join the groups of runners at the starting line. While we were not the best runners, we walked the course and had an awesome time doing it with Adriana's babies with us and all. We crossed the finish line and were welcomed with lots and lots of snacks. We walked around and enjoyed the festivities including Irish dancing and a few free beers. All the proceeds of the run went to Volunteers of America. The mission of the volunteers of America Colorado branch is to identify and serve the basic needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families within our community. This run raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Volunteers of America and we were more than happy to donate to this amazing cause. We cant wait for more 5K's this summer!

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Facilities Fundraiser

On February 25th RH Luxe Group hosted our first charity event. We spent over 2 months planning this, made donation and attendance goals that all lead up to this incredible day. Attendees were welcomed to the event with breakfast provided by A'mase'ing Catering, which was sponsored by Jeff Brown, our home inspector. We then took tours of the facilities lead by the staff. During our tour we had the pleasure of watching a live dance class and the girls did an amazing job. We ended our event by honoring Cleo with the award for African-American Icon of the Year from RH Luxe Group. This crystal award provided by Crown Trophy was presented by 9news' TaRhonda Thomas, who gave a captivating speech! After accepting her award, Miss Cleo graced us with her story and we were able to spend time with her up close and personal as she greeted and thanked each and every one of us. This Fundraiser was our first charity event, and it was such a success. We were overwhelmed and humbled by the day and the experience. Our daily mindset is to put others first in anything we do. We are Real Estate Agents, but if you're looking to meet a team that always advocates for others and has your best interest in mind, we do everything we do for so much more than the money! Thank you again to Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Jeff Brown Win Home Inspection, A'mase'ing Catering, Crown Trophy, all who attended and all who donated. We truly could not have done it without you. We look forward to many more charity events in the future!

If you know of a charity in need that would like to host our next event, please contact us. We are always looking to serve out community.

African American Icon of the Year: Cleo Parker Robinson

African American Icon of the Year: Cleo Parker Robinson

In anticipation for our Cleo Parker Robinson Fundraiser on February 25th, we wanted to shed some light on Cleo herself and why she is RH Luxe's African American Icon of the Year. Here is a little bio about her and her life from The History Makers.

"Denver native Cleo Parker Robinson was born on July 17, 1948. She almost died at age ten when her kidneys shut down and a segregated Dallas hospital did not admit her quickly enough to prevent heart failure. A doctor told her she would remain bedridden her entire life, but Robinson refused to believe that. She threw herself into dancing in order to overcome the pain of her body and the racism she faced. Today, she is the executive artistic director and choreographer of the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble.
Robinson began teaching dance at the University of Colorado at the age of fifteen. She graduated from the Colorado Women's College (now Denver University), having focused on dance, education and psychology. She studied with legendary dancer and humanitarian Katherine Dunham and then founded her own company in 1970. The mission of this ensemble is to foster appreciation, access and the development of new audiences for dance. Robinson attempts to educate audiences about the rich heritage and ancestral gifts on which this predominately African American ensemble draws through a year-round dance school, an international summer dance institute and national and international performances. Robinson also seeks to ensure the arts are carried on by future generations. A program called Project Self-Discovery (PSD) demonstrates her commitment to youth outreach. PSD provides the arts to at-risk Denver youth as an alternative to gang activity, substance abuse and other tragic possibilities. The Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble has performed in prisons, and some inmates have worked for the company after release. Robinson firmly believes in the healing power of art and that dance is a universal language.
Robinson has collaborated with many people on diverse projects, from operas such as Aida and Carmen to commissions with mentor Maya Angelou. She has worked with Marin Alsop, conductor of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, on such pieces as Porgy and Bess and Stravinsky's The Firebird. She has been granted choreography fellowships from the Colorado Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Lila Wallace Foundation, among others. Robinson was featured in the Gordon Parks film, Run Sister Run. She serves as first vice president of the International Association of Blacks in Dance and as a Denver Center for the Performing Arts Board of Trustees member."

We are so excited to be hosting The Dance Facilities Fundraiser for The Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Studio to support an amazing cause and influencer in the Denver community! We will be providing a complimentary breakfast and touring the facilities, as well as spending time with Miss Cleo herself. We would absolutely love it if you could come! RSVP on our Facebook Page, comment on this post, or email us at If you cannot attend please donate to our GoFundMe account. We can't wait to see you there!

Getting to Know Samantha Sikes

Meet our girl Samantha...

Sam is a country girl and puppy lover, with a heart of gold. She is a farm raised bad ass that is super knowledgable in home, farm, land, and all other types of real estate. She is just the sweetest. Learn more about her below.

Who is your inspiration?

My mom-she is the most important person in my life and is my hero.  Aside from setting a solid example of what it means to be a supportive parent, she has shown what it takes to overcome struggles and is an amazing at cooking!  She was diagnosed with breast cancer in August and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.  It has by far been the biggest obstacle for her to face in her life, but she is doing great and I have no idea how she does it.  If I turn out to be half the woman she is I will consider myself lucky.

Where is your favorite place to grab a bite to eat?

The Cheesecake Factory-I have never tried anything there I didn’t like.  When I meet my mom in Denver, that is our first choice of where we want to eat.  I would choose a slice of their ultimate red velvet cheesecake over dieting without any hesitation!

Do you have any pets?

A spoiled two-year-old blue heeler that loves to run and hates baths.

What is at the top of your bucket list?

Surfing in Iceland-who can say they have ever done that?!  I like traveling places not many people have visited, and think it would be awesome to surf somewhere that is not a tropical climate.

What’s your biggest fear?

It’s a tie between debt and aging-I live an active lifestyle and love to travel, and don’t like the idea of slowing down or not being able to do certain things because I’m in too much pain or too tired.  I have paid in cash for everything I own and I don’t like the idea of mortgage payments or car payments.

Coat Drive For The Homeless

January's Coat Drive For The Homeless

I'm writing this still on a high from today's charity event. We started our day by walking around the historic Southern Hills neighborhood and knocking on the doors of our neighbors and asking if they had any coats or any warm clothing to donate to our coat drive. At first, we weren't having the best luck, then we met an amazing man named Peter Peterson. He invited all five of us into his home and sifted through his coat closet until he found a few things to donate. He then went on to show us the Asian inspired art that decorated his home. Each piece of art had a story and he was so over joyed to share those stories with us. Meeting Peter lifted our spirits and had us walking on air. With this new found excitement we went on and collected over 30 coats in our little red wagon to pass out in Downtown Denver. We started to hand coats out around 16th street mall. We met a few people that were so overjoyed to be receiving a new coat. Others said they had all that they need and  hoped someone more in need would take the warm clothing. We continued walking down to civic center park where we found the most people in need. As we handed out coats many of the people we met asked if we had any food. This was breaking our hearts every time we received this question. So many asked that we decided to make a pit stop at McDonalds where we bought 30 plus cheeseburgers and handed them out along with the coats. You should have seen the light in their eyes knowing that they would have a meal today. We were so lucky to have meet the people we met and we were happy to make their days. We are excited for more events like this to come. Check out some photos and video from our day of service collecting coats for the homeless.

We will be serving our community in acts of service each month. How have you served your community lately? We would love to hear about your stories and experiences. Do you have a favorite charity or know of a group in need? We would love to help. Contact us at

Getting to Know Adriana Johnson

Meet our girl Adriana

Or as we call her el capitan. She is the fun loving, incredibly passionate, and some time a little crazy (in the best way). This insanely talented mother of three brought this group together. She has become a mentor to all of us and someone we can truly look up to and believe in. Learn a little bit about her below.

What type of personality would you say you have?

I was once described as a “Firecracker”! I’ll go with that!!

Who is your inspiration?

My Kids!! They are the reason I never give up, and dream so big, am always looking for a way to make myself better, and in turn, making them, and OUR lives better!!

What charity are you most passionate about and why?

I really have a deep passion for several smaller, local charities and non-profit organizations. It just so happens that my daughter attends Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, and know Miss Cleo personally. She is a prime example of the influential, community focused organizations that I admire, respect, and will focus on.

What made you decide to become a real estate agent?

I grew up around Title work because of my Smommy (step mommy), worked as a loan officer’s assistant, so was always close to this industry. When I came back from Italy, I knew I had a certain lifestyle I wanted to live, and that being a mother, and spending time with my kids came first. With that said, the flexibility of a real estate agent, and the limitless income and growth opportunities, I knew exactly was I wanted and have never looked back!

Where is your favorite place to grab a bite to eat?

There is a vegetarian place on 13th & Sherman called City’O City. I love any no meat options, and “hole in the wall” restaurants are my FAVE! Also love Welton Street Cafe- that good old SOUL FOOD!

Can you speak another language?

Yes, Italian!

Agent of the Month: Dan Lucchesi

We are featuring Dan Lucchesi as our January featured Agent of the Month.

Dan has been in Real Estate since 2008, when he became licensed in New York. He moved to Denver to attend grad school at the University of Denver, where he earned a Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management in 2010. He worked primarily in commercial real estate for several years, before returning to full-time real estate brokerage doing both residential and commercial. He recently joined KW in mid-2016. The property of Dan's that we are especially fond of, is 1891 Curtis Street in the heart of Downtown Denver. This condo is one of the residences in the RItz Carlton Hotel and is the epitome of a luxury condo. Read more about Dan and this amazing property.

Dan, tell us a little bit about yourself…

I live with my wife and two dogs in Arvada, where we recently relocated to from Denver in the Overland Park/Rosedale neighborhood. We lead an active lifestyle spending our free time hiking, mountain biking, skiing, hunting with the dogs and hopefully some backpacking in 2017. We also enjoy travel to Napa to enjoy wine and to the beach to enjoy the sun and the ocean. We are active members of Denver United Church in Denver.

What are some advantages to buying a condo as opposed to a house?

Condos provide a key lifestyle advantage. Home ownership comes with a lot of responsibility to maintain, what for many is one of if not their single biggest asset. For those that just don’t want to sacrifice evenings and weekends doing yard work, shoveling snow, mowing the lawn and fixing odds and ends, a condo is a preferred choice. Also, condos can offer an additional sense of community that is sometimes tougher to find even in great single family neighborhoods. Finally, many condos offer great amenities, such as a pool, fitness center, spaces for entertaining guests or outdoor recreation, and media rooms that would be tough to find or cost probative in a detached home.  Plus, when it comes to luxury condos, there are sometimes additional amenities like valet parking, private concierge, and discounts at other on-site amenities like fine dining restaurants or spas.

What would you say this listings surrounding neighborhood is like?

The area surrounding this condo is right in the heart of Downtown Denver. Thanks to a lot of energy and revitalization into Denver’s downtown, this home sits amidst a thriving, vibrant urban city center. Residents of the condo are just a few block walk from some of Denver’s best dining and drinking, many of the city’s largest employers, urban parks and entertainment. Between the light rail and free downtown shuttle busses, everything downtown can be accessed in minutes.

What makes this listing so special?

This condo is a unique opportunity to own one of only twenty-five exclusive private luxury condos in the esteemed Ritz Carlton Hotel building in the heart of downtown Denver and for a price that can’t be beat. For a true luxury condo with two bedrooms, two and half bathrooms and more than 2,400 square feet to be available under $1.4M, let alone under $1.2M is virtually unheard of. The amenities begin with valet parking and a full-time resident concierge and continue on to include a private entrance, elevator and owner’s lounge, as well as use of the TruFit gym and saltwater lap pool plus discounts at the hotel spa and Elway’s located at the doorstep of the Ritz.
