Denver Spotlight: Union Station

RH Luxe is not only about real estate, but about providing a quality lifestyle to our clients.

This includes shedding some light on the best places in Denver. From restaurants, to events, to entrepreneurs in the area we want our clients to be in the know about the people, places, and things needed to create a Luxe Life. One of our favorite spot is Downtown Denver's Union Station. Located off of Wazee Street. Union Station is the perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon eating, sipping, or shopping at the stations many shops. We were lucky enough to use this historic landmark as the set for one of our very first photo shoots. Here is a list of some of our favorite spots inside of Union Station:

The Terminal Bar: The terminal bar serves cocktails reminiscent of the days of the speak easy. You can order anything from a Colorado brew to a Old Fashioned. The bar has two sides, one with a lounge type feel and the other opens up to the 100 year old great hall where guests can enjoy a game of shuffle board or sit around on the mid century modern furniture. The bar is complete with a lit up marquee sign that will point you in the right direction.

Milkbox Ice Creamery: Milk Box is a ice cream and candy store that features ice cream from Denver's very own Little Man Ice Cream. Here you can get over 16 flavors in the form of scoops, shakes, sundaes, and adult boozy milkshakes. This is a modern spin on a fifties ice cream parlor.

Bloom: This adorable flower and gift shop is a perfect place to pick up a bouquet on your way to an event or to bring to the one you love. This florist creates signature bouquets on site all day long that are seasonal and specific to your floral wants and needs.

The Crawford Hotel: Rated one of the top 11 Business Hotels in the World by CNN, you would be crazy not to book a stay at The Crawford Hotel. Located on the second floor of Union Station you can stay in the lap of luxury in the heart of LoDo. Be close to all the action while you relax in these modern dwellings.

Trust me, we didn't forget about all the amazing restaurants in Union Station but we will save that blog post for another day. This historical landmark is a place to see and be seen by Denver's many different walks of life and we hope to see you there.
