Food Porn: The Realtor Restaurant Review of Sushirama

Food Porn: The Realtor Restaurant Review of Sushirama

Denver’s RiNo district has exploded in recent years to be the artsy, happening area that it is today. What was once abandoned warehouses and factories, is now home to dozens of breweries, restaurants, lofts and jazz bars full of character. It’s easy to see why people are super attracted to this hot spot, and for about $600,000, you can live here too!

RiNo is one of the first Denver neighborhoods to officially move forward with a huge development plan in the works!

A Los-Angeles investment firm will partner with Mass Equities (MEQ) to develop a mixed-use property on 7.8 acres in Denver's River North District.
The first phase of the project [which will cost upwards of $200 million] will involve redeveloping the existing 62,000-square-foot building into a creative office building.
The rest of the project will include:
Residential hybrid coming to RiNo
Parts of Denver's RiNo could get 16-story buildings under zoning plan
Crane Watch: RiNo's development boom continues with 2 new projects
A 480-unit apartment complex.Over 33,000 square feet in the "otherwise retail-starved RiNo area along Brighton [Boulevard]." When initially announcing the development, expected 85,000 square feet of retail to be built.

Walking into the restaurant you immediately feel a psychedelic vibe. The sushi conveyor belt catches your eye right away. Mini plates of sushi ride around on the sushi train in the middle of the restaurant waiting for you to impulsively grab. There are some great items on the menu to choose from, but the idea here is to grab and eat! How do you know how much the sushi is you ask? Well, the plates are color-coated by price. Plates range from $1.50-$4.00 each. Devour the plate on your own or share with a friend, but by all means keep the plates STAKED HIGH!! It’s a necessity.

Now of course, we have to talk about the drinks. Payton ordered the Sparkling Sake which I didn’t even know was a thing! But, it did not disappoint! It was smooth, sweet and refreshing. Aside form the 8 different sake choices to try, there is also a large beer and wine selection, and house drinks like the Green Tea Mule which was super yummy!

Overall we had a fabulous time at Sushi-Rama. We were able to have some fun and take care of business at the same time. This is definitely a place to come if you are looking for a quick, fun and affordable place to eat.

Last but now least, to make the restaurant review easiest, the Luxe Ladies decided to make a rating system for our experience in order to give you our official “Food Porn Review.” We rated the restaurant on 5 different categories: Price, Location, Atmosphere, Food Quality, and Kid Friendly…..

HERE IS OUR OFFICIAL VOTE…(drumroll please)

For PRICE AJ gives it a 10! AJ's obsessed with Sushi Den and Izakaya, where a table of five would have been $150 Each!

For LOCATION Sarah gives it an 8!

For ATMOSPHERE Rachel gives it an 8!

For FOOD QUALITY Claren gives the restaurant a 9!

For KID FRIENDLY Payton gives it a 8! She thinks kids would love it but you'd have to keep their hands busy so they weren't grabbing at every available sushi roll!
